"What If?" reflections on 'living across difference'
A contemporary art exhibition in Ankara, Devlet Resim Heykel Muzesi 5- 15 April 2002 The first leg of the exhibition took place in Athens / Greece, 23-30 September 2001 a site specific exhibition, "What If?", reflections on choice and then second leg was in London/ England, 23 November 2001- 7 December 2001 an installation art exhibition "What If?", in residence, in transit. Key point to the project is an inter-cultural, interdisciplinary dialogue on contemporary art. These objectives will also be manifested through the exhibition's documentation, which will combine visual material and written text.
This exhibition is curated and co-ordinated by Gulsen Bal and organised by Helen Koumbouzis.

Objectives
- Present an exhibition of contemporary art that is in progress throughout and will give the opportunity to the artists to work creatively with the public.
- Approach a non-art orientated public, to generate discussion in social issues related to contemporary art.
- Enhance the idea of art venues alternative to the traditional gallery to a wider audience.
- Establish collaboration with organizations and educational institutions in order to create a dynamic interaction on specific terrain.
